Transport to Queen's Park

Getting to Queen's Park

By Bus: Queen's Park is well served by buses from most parts of the Borough of Bournemouth, but because very few buses pass or stop by the perimeter of the Park you will need to know where to get off, and be prepared for a short walk to reach the Park itself.

Services 17, 18 [Throop/Hospital/Muscliffe - Bournemouth Square - Triangle - Alum Chine] stop near the junction of Richmond Park Road and Bennett Road, from where you can reach the Park via Richmond Park Crescent.

Services 33, 34 [Westbourne/Rail Station/Littledown/Muscliffe/Moordown circular service] & 35 [Bournemouth Triangle - Boscombe Bus Station] stop in Littledown Avenue, from where you can reach the Park via a subway under Wessex Way.

Services 7 [Boscombe Pier - Kinson], 31, 32 [Bournemouth Triangle - Purewell], 33, 34 [Westbourne/Rail Station/Littledown/Muscliffe/Moordown circular service] & 35 [Bournemouth Triangle - Boscombe Bus Station] stop at the Cooper Dean Roundabout, near the north-east corner of the Park.

Service 41 (Tuesdays & Thursdays only) [Mallard Road - Boscombe] is the only route to pass directly alongside the Park, stopping near the Pavilion.

For full details of the routes and times of these services, see the web site of Yellow Buses.

By Bicycle: Cycle routes pass near Queen's Park alongside Wessex Way and Queen's Park South Drive. There are as yet no dedicated cycle racks, but there are plenty of fences to which cycles may be chained!

By Car: Car parks are located alongside the Pavilion on Queen's Park West Drive, and near the corner of Queen's Park South Drive and Wessex Way.
