Playground Grant Awarded

QPIPS and Mark Anderson have been working Queen's Park & Charminster Neighbourhood Charity and the BCP Council Greenspace Team, to raise funds to improve and rebuild the children's play area at Queen's Park which had been closed by the council due to damage and lack of funds

I'm pleased to announce that we heard today that the Veolia Environment trust has now given us a £73, 000 grant. This funding will support the transformation of the play area into an exciting, safe, and accessible space for children and families to enjoy for years to come. The project will include new play equipment, improved facilities, and enhancements to the surrounding environment, making Queen’s Park an even better place for our community to come together.
