Interpretation Boards are now up in the park

With the funding from the Lottery Heritage Initiative grant we have been able to produce two interpretation boards, one is wall mounted on the pavilion and the other by the pond.  They detail the history of Queen's park from 1066 to the present and include the work completed by Bournemouth University and pictures from those who have sent Rebecca pictures of the park.

The boards have been produced by Pryor sign who have produced boards for other top charities as the National Trust and Brecon National Park.  The board is made out of a material called Duralite and tests show this to be everything resistant including golf balls, uv light fade, graffitti, fire.

However if you do see any problems with the boards or if you have any queries regarding them please do not hesitate to contact Rebecca Sheppard at history@qpips.org.uk.
